Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)

Abdominoplasty surgery, also known as a tummy tuck, is a procedure that can help to remove excess skin and tissue from the abdomen. The added benefit of an abdominoplasty is that weakened or separated abdominal muscle (rectus diastasis) can be addressed and the muscles can be tightened, this may help with abdominal bulging. It is important to keep in mind that an abdominoplasty is not a weight loss procedure, and you should be at your goal weight and be stable at that weight for one year prior to undergoing surgery for the best and longest lasting results. This procedure helps to improve your overall body contour and help you to show off the new, slimmer you that you have worked so hard to achieve during your weight loss journey.

Post-operatively you will need about 4-6 weeks to take it easy and recover.

A lower body lift or a belt lipectomy is a procedure that can help to improve the shape and tone of the underlying tissue that supports skin and fat. The incision extends 360 degrees around the body to address all of the aforementioned areas. Body lifts are not intended strictly for removal of excess fat. Liposuction is a tool that can remove excess fat as needed and this can be combined with a body lift if the skin elasticity is poor to provide the best improved contour.
