Dr. Ahmad was recently invited by the French and Francophone Society of Obesity and Metabolic Diseases Surgery (SOFFCOM) as an expert to present on his cutting edge work in Robotic Bariatric Surgery, the current and the future. A panel of renowned national and international experts were present to discuss various topics, including minimally invasive techniques, endoscopy, robotic surgery, telemedicine and follow up. Dr Ahmad specifically discussed his techniques of sleeve gastrectomy and robotic bypass. Dr. Ahmad is internationally known as a leader in these techniques, having the largest, worldwide, experience in these types of procedures.
